We cater for many allergies and intolerance at our veggie/vegan restaurant. Please call or email us before you visit to be sure we can help you, however at least half of typical lunch time menu will cater for vegans, lactose intolerances and gluten allergies. Details of ingredients can always be asked for. We also try to have a few raw options on the menus, including desserts.
Our fabulous cakes are made here at the cafe. We love the classics as well as well as our very popular vegetable cakes. Come and try our best selling beetroot chocolate brownie. our excellent coffee is from eco4coffee, sourced directly from the farmer at a fair price and roasted locally in a micro-roastary. It is organic, fair trade and rain forest alliance certified… with your choice of organic milk.
The vast majority of our ingredients are organic, local and biodynamic. We source most of our fresh produce from Perry Court Farm just outside of Canterbury, so food miles are a minimum.
Our menu changes from day to day according to the seasons and what’s available at the farm. We also use responsibly foraged wild food such as mushrooms, water cress, wild garlic etc… whenever we can get it that is!
For the more exotic things on our menu like chocolate, coffee, coconut and sugar etc we source fair trade and organic wherever possible.

Our delicious golden ale 'Foundry Mans Gold' is brewed over the road at The Foundry. We also sell Whitstable Brewery Pilsner and Kentish Pip Cider.
Our wine is supplied by local, independent wine shop, Wild Ferment, who will be running tasting nights soon on organic vegetarian wines.
We also sell a small selection of spirits and mixers so come here for an interesting and more relaxing tipple in our unique cafe.
